Kids Art Program

This summer, I designed these art projects for Sweet Arts Studio, especially when we are all stuck here, amid the current global crisis, and our priority is to stay safe and healthy. My hope is to drive our creativity even more powerfully and positively in this different and difficult time.

Quarantine Little Me

Summer was usually about sun, fun, and outdoor activities unless the world is burdened with the epidemic. But we’re also, and always, embraced by the universe of imagination. This project is to help kids discover that creating is a daring adventure that can take you anywhere! It turns out you can create art everywhere!

Suggested materials - 1 piece of paper, pencils, erasers, rulers, scissors, colored pencils, and any preferred coloring materials.

What’s on Your Family Wall

Now it feels like we have been staying home forever… If you could decorate the wall, what would it have? In this project, students would be experimenting with negative and positive spaces to create colorful family portraits .

Suggested Materials - 1 piece of paper, and any preferred coloring materials. We won’t need pencils and erasers this time. Let’s go ahead with colors!

It’s My Recipe

My cookies come in all kinds of shapes and sizes, and so do all those kitchen supplies! This project includes a step-by-step activity for younger artists. We will learn how to break down each object into simple shapes and draw every ingredient! This is also designed for more experienced students who want to add details and exciting sparks into their illustration.

Suggested Materials - 3 pieces of paper, pencils, erasers, rulers, and colored pencils, crayons or markers.

Suggested Age group - 5 and up

Robot Factory

We all love BB-8 and Wall-E, then why not create your unique robot? Or your brand new robot story! This project starts by designing characters and creating a short story that the kids would then develop into a full illustration with background and further details.

Suggested Materials - 3 pieces of papers, pencils, erasers, rulers, colored pencils, and any preferred coloring materials.

Suggested Age group - 8 and up

Into the Unknown… Outer Space!

This project encourages students to think both creatively and theoretically. We will be creating a character, drawing the spaceship and background together, focusing on colors, composition, and the power of imagination!
